What to Do in Greece While on a Vacation

Your journey begins as soon as you step off the plane at Athens International Airport on Day 1 or 2. The Acropolis, Parthenon, and National Archaeological Museum are just a few of the must-see attractions in this historic city. On days 4-6, fly to Heraklion's N. Kazantzakis International Airport on the island of Crete. Heraklion and Chania, two of Crete's most historic cities, are best explored by vehicle. Remember to include Imbros Gorge and Elafonissi Beach in your itinerary while planning your trip. A ferry will take you from Crete to Santorini on days 7 through 9. Take a walk up to the town of Oia, where you can watch the sun set over the Aegean Sea over the whitewashed houses. Amoudi Bay is a great place to cool yourself in the summer.
